This new trail link creates a loop which is intended to provide inclusive recreational trail experiences for local residents of the Murray Bridge region as well as expand the existing trail network for trail events. The trail design brief nominated key areas (or positive control points) to be incorporated into the new loop including views of the new rhino enclosure at Monarto Zoo and where possible, existing vehicle tracks to provide the loop trail experience.
Building trails at Kinchina Conservation Park near Murray Bridge/ Monarto has been a really nice experience during this last winter. We loved it!
Shared use, dual direction, Green Circle. Kinda old skool! A mixture of hand crafted and machine built trail. Plus the team have really stepped up the rock work! Well done lads!
Thanks to Murraylands Multisports for being awesome. Thanks to Riverhills Trails and the Dept of Environment and Water for having us on site!
A little bit of product testing today on the new Green Circle trail at Kinchina Conservation Park.
It sure has dried out quick this Spring but this area still has some charm!
Thanks to @pulla27 and the JDS crew that come out to test the trail for us. Thanks to @escapegoat for helping us to get novice riders to the most suitable parts of the Park! Good to see @starryeb on the trails again too.
A fun day had by all! Cheers #traillove #CypressHillTheTrail
Creek Crossing, Rocky Gully @nationalparkssa Cred to Spry Civil Construction for getting this lovely local rock onto this site so we could get all Zen and Jedi like with the rock shapes.
Big thanks to Murraylands Multisports for being so supportive of the trail creation process and essentially being dedicated to making their local trail dreams come true.
Much appreciation to the Dept of Environment and Water who have been an absolute pleasure to work with and it`s great to get to know land managers who are keen to make a difference for country and community.
