I love my job, I really do… but every day there are challenges and sacrifies to be made to make sure humans can enjoy nature without impacting on culture, community or country.
The ridiculous amount of fossil fuels I burn through to make this magic happen does not sit well with me. There has to be a better way! It’s imperative.
I look forward to the day I can run my excavation equipment on bio diesel or something renewable. I look foward to the day when catching a train or a boat to a riding destination in Australia is both feasible and cost effective. I look forward to the day when most riders can safely ride to their ride on sweet flowing single track.
In the mean time I’ll just keep doing the best I can to make sure my trail legacy is positive rather than negative!!!
